Job Description
Top 40 pork powerhouse located in the Midwest seeks experienced swine production supervisor to oversee their breed-to-wean operations in OH. There are multiple avenues for growth for the right candidate!
THE ROLE:
- Lead and develop the units that fall under your territory
- Provide input on farm management
- Train and develop staff and create a succession plan
- Adhere to and help vet create biosecurity protocols to ensure herd health
- Ensure that each unit adheres to animal welfare protocol
- Direct and train staff with regard to routine maintenance procedures
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED Preferred
EXPERIENCE:
2+ Years in a Production Supervisor role with demonstrated success based on KPIs
Sow Farm Managers with 5+ years of experience encouraged to apply
