Job Description

A stable and growing family-owned swine powerhouse is looking for a Sow Farm Supervisor to oversee multiple sites in IA.
THE ROLE:
  • Uphold company culture as you deal with employees and production partners
  • Provide leadership to your teams and create development plans while creating growth opportunities based on skills
  • Collaborate with management team members
  • Analyze root cause of performance issues and execute action to restore performance
  • Collaborate with sow farm managers to ensure optimal staffing levels are consistent
  • Participate in onboarding of new employees
  • Understand, follow and uphold company’s safety and biosecurity programs
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • 5 years experience in management of 10 or more employees
  • Proficient with computers, smart phones, spreadsheets and databases
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint)
