Typical Duties of an Onboarding and Training Manager include:
3 years management experience required
Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for two years of management experience
One year experience training or teaching new employees or students required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1) Knowledge of:
Livestock/swine management and handling (Sow farm experience preferred)
Traditional and modern training methods, including mentoring and coaching.
2) Skill in:
Microsoft Office applications as well as LMS applications
Demonstrated computer skills and abilities above beginner level
creating engaging and informative presentations of information
Proven planning, time management and decision making skills with the ability to self-manage numerous projects simultaneously
Relationship building and teamwork focused
3) Ability to:
Handle confidential information
Successfully work and engage with remote teams and travel when required
Convey commitment to the organization’s progressive mission, values, and ideals.
Effectively be able to communicate with all employees and new hires in a professional, clear, concise and understood manner.
High School or better.
Associates or better in Agriculture.
Associates or better in Animal Science.
Associates or better in Training.
