Finisher Site Manager

About this Job:

The finisher site manager is responsible for all day to day operations of the finisher site and to oversee the care of all pigs on site. Duties include: organizing daily tasks and routines of all finishing staff, training staff as required, ensuring repair and maintenance of equipment is completed, complete feed orders based on feed budgets, ensure ideal pigs are sent to market, monitor barn environments and ensure all components are operating correctly, complete all reporting and paperwork as required.


The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure while handling multiple tasks. Weekend and holiday work is required on a rotational basis. A valid driver’s licence and a vehicle are required to get to and from work. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required. Management experience is considered an asset. The ability to communicate in English is required.
