Integrated, privately held agricultural and livestock production company headquartered in Northeast Iowa is looking to add an individual for leadership and management of ingredient procurement for company owned feed mills and livestock production facilities. Knowledge and skills necessary include understanding of Ingredient Commodity markets, swine/ruminant nutrition, relative value of ingredients, supplier management, industry regulations, production cost analysis, and transportation logistics.
Candidate will be responsible for business planning, direct and indirect budget oversight, performance metrics and benchmarking, along with identifying, developing, strategies resulting in product growth/profitability.
Candidate must have demonstrated strategic marketing skills and product management. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related agricultural/business or equivalent management experience. Preferred feed mill and/or production experience. Candidate will be based out of Northeast Iowa. Must have proficient computer skills in spreadsheets and in creating queries.
