Care of livestock to include feeding, artificial insemination, heat checking, observation and treatment of swine population. Building and equipment maintenance in the swine facilities and the sanitation of swine facilities. Calibrate feeders in swine areas and collect research data. Other duties as assigned.

High school or equivalent experience, plus one year large livestock/animal handling experience required. Precision, accuracy and attention to detail necessary.
Prefer Associate’s in animal science or related field; experience handling swine; and experience with welding and equipment fabrication. Data entry experience helpful.
