This recruitment will be used to create a pool of part-time (a maximum of 20 hours per week) Swine Center Crew Member positions for the Department of Animal and Rangeland Sciences at the Swine Center at Oregon State University (OSU).
This is an off campus facility, employee must have a reliable form of transportation.
Student-Employees will be responsible for providing coordinated day-to-day care of Swine.
Basic duties for Swine:
No previous swine experience required, however it is beneficial.
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in Youth Programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.
This position MAY require driving a university vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the university; if so, the incumbent must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in their state of residence, be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions as per OSU Standard 576-056-0000 et seq.
