NPP is actively seeking candidates for a Sow Farm Production Supervisor. This full time position would have multi-site responsibility of approximately 15,000 sows and 50 employees. The position is located in northeast Nebraska. A successful candidate would be responsible for the implementation and execution, either personally or through subordinates, of all company protocol and policy in sites under their supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

• Maintain peak performance at facilities assigned working with site managers and crew through production procedures and training. Production supervisor would be responsible for training the manager/staff towards protocol and skill enhancement, as we as well physically inspecting facilities on a weekly basis.

• Review status of financial data, key performance indicators, and key projects to operations and upper management. Review invoices, drug and supply usage and orders, approve expenditures, and adhere to budget constraints.

• Uses computerized data analysis to systematically review and understand production, financial, and system throughput.

• Maintain and enforce compliance with company’s biosecurity protocol.

• Assist with personnel issues and consult with Director of Sow Farms or Human Resources when determined necessary. Interview, hire and terminate personnel in conjunction with the Human Resources Dept.

• Review accidents and compliance with safety protocol.

• Participate and train others to work with NPP’s performance evaluation process.

• Performs other duties or responsibilities as required or requested by management.

• Other duties as assigned.
