THE CANDIDATE: The successful leader of this program has a track record of getting results. Possess a degree in Animal Science or related discipline, has sales and/or sales management experience combined with business training or relevant experience. Knowledge of commercial pig production is an asset but not required. Computer skills including experience with Word and Excel are required. A valid drivers license is required.

THE COMPANY: Prairie Swine Centre Inc. is a non-profit swine production research corporation located 10 km east of Saskatoon. Cudworth Pork Investors Group (CPIG) is seeking a LIVESTOCK TRUCER/FEEDMILL OPERATOR for employment in a 1200 sow farrow-to-finish hog operation producing high quality breeding stock for a leading swine breeding company.

Responsible for all aspects of hauling swine to market including loading, unloading, and truck maintenance. Trucker is required to haul 1 load of hogs/week to Brandon, and the balance of time will be spent operating the feed mill and some time in the barn. Every second weekend the trucker/feed mill operator is required to work in the feed mill.
