Position Overview:

The Sustainable Swine Resources (SSR) division focuses on driving value optimization and sustainability for the porcine tissue and pork product/ raw materials available from our harvest facilities.  The individual in this position will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies across current and prospective industries with direct impact on company growth.  This is an opportunity to act as an owner to continuously realize maximum value and societal importance of porcine raw materials.


  • Build business by identifying and executing sales across a variety of sectors and industries
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop supporting business cases for new products and modifications to existing products
  • Cultivate, maintain, and grow relationships with current and prospective customers
  • Build network and brand awareness through exhibiting at industry relevant events
  • Leverage your network of industry, academic and vendor relationships to drive product use and business sales
  • Work closely with the SSR team, operations, and supporting team members while effectively communicating throughout all levels of the organization
  • Maintain quality service by establishing customer requirements and collaborating cross-functionally to meet and maintain those requirements
  • Identify and implement cost management opportunities across the SSR supply chain
  • Evaluate and drive actions to create successful partnerships and joint ventures opportunities
  • Continually improve SSR’s product and technologies with innovative ideas to become the best supplier of porcine tissue in the world
  • Maintain leading edge knowledge of emerging markets and innovative changes within existing markets by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors


Bachelor’s degree required


At least 3 years of experience selling and/or sourcing meat by-products or animal tissues required
Experience of industries where pork products and tissues are sold – Retailers, Processor Sales, Animal feed, Pet Industries, Pharmaceuticals, Medical, Research, etc.
Experience with international sales preferred
Knowledge of USDA/FDA regulations and standards

Skills and Competencies:

Demonstrated agility to move across various product types and industries with ability to provide solutions to customers
Results oriented and comfortable with influencing decisions across the organization
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate details to technical and non-technical individuals
Skilled at managing multiple priorities

Location: Global Headquarters, Sheboygan Falls, WI; remote work possible

Travel: Approximately 15%; possible international travel
