Bilingual Construction Supervisor

About this Job:


The Bilingual Construction Supervisor will oversee all responsibilities within the scope of the project while managing labor and supplies to ensure all goals and deadlines are met.  This individual will be required to stay abreast of employee’s day to day activities and ensure that their work meets Iowa Select Farm’s expectations for quality and timeliness.


  • Plan and implement the project making adjustments as you go as needed
  • Plan and coordinate all labor, materials and equipment required to complete the project
  • Lead project coordination meetings and updates
  • Plan and implement safety for all activities on the project
  • Understand and monitor project costs and budgets
  • Personally monitor production of assigned jobs
  • Formulate a job schedule
  • Keep projects on or ahead of schedule
  • Monitor and maintain high quality of work
  • Troubleshoot installation and other problems as they arise; resolve problems
  • Ensure adherence to state and local codes
  • Arrange necessary equipment and materials
  • Meets operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards

Experience/Education: The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of successful site project management experience (preferably in hog equipment installation/barn construction). This individual would have excellent knowledge of all phases of construction and experience in construction scheduling, field supervision and quality control of construction projects. General experience in concrete, plumbing, electrical and wood frame construction is required.

Qualifications: Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. The schedule is Monday-Saturday so all individuals must be able to work this schedule.
