The Summer Intern will be based in DeSoto, KS and will be reporting to the regional communications director. The job scope and primary focus for this position is to actively support the regional communications director and the strategy across the regions and territories via coordination and execution of public relations support activities such as but not limited to:

* Support and service the MAH swine marketing needs
* Participate in all function with marketing, PR to help with product launches.
* Educate customers about the benefits and value of MAH products and services; may conduct presentations to customers
* Ensure clear, concise and timely communication.
* Identifies problems and develops solutions if applicable
* Have a positive approach to coaching and direction
* Teamwork- involvement of others in plans and decisions

This is a 9-11 week internship based in DeSoto, Kansas. A housing stipend will be provided for students who meet distance requirement.

• Minimum of a Sophomore enrolled in an Agriculture related major at a 4 year University.
• Must be available for a period of 9-11 weeks, beginning June 2013.
