Production Coordinator
at Alberta Pig Company in Canada
Sunhaven Farms is looking for an experienced hog production specialist to join our team. Sunhaven Farms is a 10,000 sow hog production system in East Central Alberta. Primary responsibilities will include training and coordination of contract growers, monitoring of a system-wide herd health and biosecurity. You will work as part of a team managing pig flows, marketing and the flow of information between sow units and grower facilities.
Candidates should possess 10 years experience in the swine industry, a sound knowledge of all aspects of pig production, a post secondary degree related to hog production or veterinary medicine. You must be highly motivated, have superior organisational and communication skills, the ability to work with and manage data and a proven ability to work in a team environment. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package.
