Sunhaven Farms is looking for a proven hog production systems manager to join our team. Managed by Alberta Pig Company, Sunhaven Farms is a 10,000 sow hog production system in East Central Alberta. Our system includes a dedicated gilt rearing and development facility and loose housing sow gestation systems. Primary responsibilities include coordination of our system-wide hog production program and support of farm managers in the areas of production management, staff training and development .
Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years management experience in the swine industry and a sound knowledge of all aspects of pig production. You should have a record of successful work at a senior level in building and managing teams of people and be able to work independently. Strong communication and data management skills are a must.
