Key Account Sales Manager - Swine

Job Description:
A Key Account Sales Manager - Swine is needed for major company located in North Carolina. Position will cover Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and (Arkansas or Oklahoma). Candidate must reside in state within Territory.
Candidate will be required to increase sales and market share in key product categories by providing value added business solutions to selected account base.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Create and execute strategic plans for 40-50 accounts, based on company's Key Account Sales Training Model.
2. Work with customers to identify needs and solutions that will result in improved operations as well as greater loyalty and growth of company's product line.
3. Coordinate seminars and activities with outside specialists and consultants to meet objectives of agreed upon annual business plan.
4. Research, develop and deliver seminars aimed at strategic objectives of Key Accounts
5. Work with company's Sales Director, Regional Manager, Territory Manager, Professional Services Veterinarian to ensure sales goals and objectives are met.
6. Create teamwork environment with Territory Manager, Professional Services Veterinarian and account personnel in assigned accounts
7. Support Director of Sales & Regional Manager in strategy competitive analysis, product positioning and sales forecasting.
8. Work with Key Account Managers to create templates of successful account management, to be used for future strategies.
9. 70% Travel required
10. Territory includes Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and (Arkansas or Oklahoma)
Travel: 70%
Salary range: $75,000-$125,000 depending on experience

7. Sales & service of swine genetics
8. Production consultation for large US swine producer accounts
9. Expanded customer base and multiplication systems
10. Implementation of facility management systems to improve production environment
11. Implementation of maintenance systems
12. Cost monitoring & resource management
