Swine Consultant

Consulting and nutrition firm is seeking swine consultant with a solid background in farm management. This person will enjoy a significant consulting role with swine producers by providing nutritional and production management consulting.
The successful candidate will have 5 years of experience in swine production AND/OR swine nutrition/feed sales. The ideal candidate will also possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. Candidates must have proven communication and computer skills and have a passion for the swine industry. Compensation program, which includes salary and benefits, will be commensurate with skills and experience.
The territory for this position is eastern South Dakota. Candidates must live in eastern South Dakota. 6 nights each month will be overnight travel. The successful candidate will work with the swine producers on farm management, nutrition, animal health, environmental and genetics issues. Expertise in some of these areas is required.
